The Michael Angelo Charity is a non-profit Organization created to help the people of Nicaragua, Central , South America and the region of Latin America, as well as the legal immigrants from all Countrys in the United States. The purpose of this Charity is to assist those in need of a better quality of life, civil rights preservations, and restoration of the communities affected by natural disasters, research and development of economical assistance to all Nations and people. · The guiding principles of the Michael Angelo Charity are to support people, Foundations, and processes; channel funds directly to the non-governmental sector, promote entrepreneurship, innovation, and self-reliance; strengthen democratic principles; empower poor people to solve their own problems ; and treat partners with respect and dignity.
At age 58, Dr. Michael A. Medrano, envisions to be remember as “someone who gave back” and tried to make a better world in whatever way he could. He would like to share with others the satisfaction of giving.
Dr. Medrano’s passion for his vision keeps him consistent with his work. As a respectable community leader in New Jersey, Washington, New York and the state of Florida. Dr. Medrano has made his life’s work a new beginning for the community he calls home. His story of success earned him countless awards and honors in the fields of Education, Healthcare and Medical Research among others.
Born in Nicaragua to an immigrant family of four, Dr. Medrano worked his way through school, as a young man, he started a wholesale business with his friend, launching a successful career as an entrepreneur. Dr. Medrano credits his uncle, Dr.Orlando Montenegro Medrano, former president of the Congress in Nicaragua for teaching him the great value of giving. He recalls growing up during difficult financial times, still his mother would find a few cents to give to charity. He has incorporated this important value in his life, including supporting education.
